From QR Codes to DMs: Hippie Sabotage’s Multi-Touch Tour Strategy

Hippie Sabotage used Laylo to build momentum and power fan engagement throughout their entire ENTER THE UNKNOWN tour. From presale signups to in-venue QR codes and Instagram DMs, they turned every touchpoint into an opportunity to grow their fanbase and share exclusive content.

Dropping the tour

Hippie Sabotage initially announced the tour using a multidrop. This style of drop allows artists to drop every stop on their from a single link. Fans are served the closest stop to them at the top of the listings, but can browse the entire tour and RSVP for their desired location.

During the RSVP, thousands of fans signed up in order to snag presale tickets.

Activating fans IRL

In between their opener on tour, as well as on several other screens within the venue, Hippie displayed a Laylo QR code that unlocked access to an exclusive unreleased track. Fans scanned the QR, input their phone number or email, and immediately got a link to the track.
